"Celebrating our People" at last night's Board Meeting, we inducted new board members, honored a retiree and gave out a Trojan Award of Excellence! Please congratulate Josh Estelle for joining our 2025 Board. Seth Lee took a a new role as Board President, Nan Polk as Vice President, Jaci Hadsell as Secretary, and John Griffith, returns as a member. Dr. Shoemaker honored Greg Dickerson for teaching eight years in Machine Trades at the New Castle Career Center, and gave the Trojan Award of Excellence to Mica White, 2nd Grade Westwood teacher. We're proud of all of your dedication to NCCSC! Thank you.

NCMS Marketplace will be Friday, 12/13. All funds raised during this event will benefit our Student aid fund. Students are encouraged to bring dollar bills and quarters to spend at this event 7th hour for raffles, food, drinks and fun!
Our Monday night Board Meetings are filled with laughter and joy. Congratulations to Riley Elementary for earning state recognition with exceptional I-Learn Reading Scores and a Trojan Award of Excellence! We also want to honor Annette Goggin, for 39 years of teaching; she will be retiring in May. We are grateful for Jennifer Blackford for serving 5 years on the School Board; thank you! Also, we had a surprise guest board member last night...

NCCSC will have have Remote Learning Days on Monday, 11/25 and Tuesday 11/26. Students will be responsible for assignments posted to Google Classroom pages. Teachers will be available for students questions through email and Google Classroom.
Attendance will be based upon student completion of tasks. Families that may have difficulty with internet access or schedule conflicts, are permitted to submit tasks for their attendance credit through 12/2 for Monday's(11/25) attendance and 12/3 for Tuesday's(11/26) attendance.
