NCMS extracurricular update for Monday, December 15th.
Parker Elementary has extended an invitation to their monthly food pantry for all NCMS families today from 4:00-5:15pm.
NCMS Band Concert @ 7pm. Doors open at 6:30. Students should wear concert attire and enter at 6:00pm.
6th G. Girls BBall at Shelbyville at 5:30p as scheduled.
Any athletic teams practice schedules changes will be communicated by coaches directly.
The NCMS Art Show has been postponed until Tuesday, 3:30-5:00pm

NCMS will participate in ILEARN checkpoint assessments Tuesday and Wednesday morning this week. Please help students arrive on time with fully charged computers on these dates.
Additionally, students are encouraged to bring money for purchases at our annual Holiday Marketplace Friday 12/12. All money collected will benefit our NCMS Student Fund.

This Saturday, Bundy Auditorium will host the Ball State University Singers, and JAZZ FEST's "Swing Street!" Students from NC, Blue River, Tri-High and Northview will be joining the concert. 4:30 PM $5.00 tickets.

Our 8th Grade Agriculture Class visited Tuttle Orchard last Wednesday. We were able find the Queen honey bee in the colony of bees that help pollinate the apples. Students picked pumpkins in the pumpkin patch and apples from the orchard. We visited “Big Tom,” the walk in refrigeration system where they keep all of their harvested apples (preserving them past harvest season). We learned what it takes to run an agri-business, and how they maintain the Orchard.
