Mr. Bode's Physics 2 Class drove 6 hours round-trip to a GE test facility in Peebles, OH, where they assemble and test aircraft engines! Our students were able to see the largest and most powerful engine in the world, the GE9X. Tests included: vibration, acoustic, wind, blade destruction (AKA engine explosion), rain, ice (softball size hail), and bird strikes. We learned about the aerospace industry, potential career paths in engineering and science, and how the physics principles we discuss daily are used in the real world!

Senior Families, we will provide help to complete your FAFSA on Tuesday, Nov. 4th, from 3:00 -6:00 p.m. Please enter at door # 1. Bring your device, 2024 tax returns, and banking information. If you have not created your Federal Student Aid ID number yet, please log onto FAFSA.gov and do so. This will help speed up the process on Tuesday.
Also, our annual Scholarship kick-off will be Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m., in Bundy Auditorium. We will share information about Henry County Community Foundation and the High School scholarships available. Please plan to attend! Thank you.
