Calling all Lady Trojans: Basketball Camp sign-ups are here! There are two camps to choose from. Check the brochures and registration forms for June and July options.
Reminders: Students in grades 2, 3, 4, & 5 will be walking to Baker Park tomorrow. Please make sure students wear comfortable clothing and shoes, bring a disposable water bottle, and wear sunscreen if needed.
Field Day is Thursday. We are still in need of cheeseballs and unfrozen ice pops.
Also, the Honors Programs are scheduled for this Friday. PK-2 @ 8:30 and 3-5 at 9:30.

Huge thanks to the NC Fire & PD for their rapid response to Friday’s Career Center fire; their actions kept our students/staff safe & limited damage. Servpro worked Sat/Sun to ensure clean air quality. School will operate normally tomorrow with a few CC classes to be relocated.

The NC Fire Department is currently addressing a situation in the Career Center wing of the High School. Smoke is coming from a dust collector. All student and staff are safe and we are using this as an unexpected Fire Drill.

Tomorrow evening at 7:30, our New Castle Trojan Boys' basketball team plays Hamilton Heights in the sectional. To support our team, we are encouraging students and staff to wear their Trojan gear or green tomorrow. Go Trojans!

It is great to see our students back in schools today!!! Having just spent the last four days learning virtually, we will be in person next Wednesday, the 4th. This is a change from our calendar. If we have another snow day, we will then use the remote learning day at that time.
