We are thrilled to share some incredible news with you: our school corporation achieved a 94.1% pass rate on the 3rd grade IREAD!
This is a monumental accomplishment for our students, our schools, and our entire community. While IREAD is a third-grade assessment, we all know that literacy isn't built in a single year. It takes every single teacher, aide, specialist, and staff member across all grade levels laying the foundation day after day. This stellar outcome is a direct reflection of your hard work, dedication, and unwavering belief in our kids.
At the Back to School Staff Meeting, we discussed how IREAD is a critical indicator in Indiana's state school accountability system. This year's IREAD performance placed us securely in the top third of school corporations statewide—setting us up in a great position for our upcoming school grades.
Every single one of our elementary schools performed admirably, and our elementary administrators will share building-specific data with their respective schools.
