Property and Facilities Management students have officially started assembling the storage shelves they’re building for the choir department. Turning plans into progress—great teamwork in action!
Yesterday our EMT class had an incredible opportunity to step outside their comfort zone and into a new form of communication!
Students spent time learning American Sign Language (ASL) from Mrs. Glover and her class, gaining valuable skills to better serve members of the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Experiences like this remind us that being an EMT is about more than medical care — it’s about connection, compassion, and communication with everyone.
Way to go, future first responders!

Thank you Mrs. DeCrastos (NC Literacy Specialist) for visiting Education Professions today! 235 students learned about literacy laws and literacy priorities. Students had fun practicing a universal screener and a diagnostic screener.
Warmer weather means more hands-on learning! Property and Facilities Management students took advantage of the nice day to complete ramp work on the shed.
