Huge thanks to the NC Fire & PD for their rapid response to Friday’s Career Center fire; their actions kept our students/staff safe & limited damage. Servpro worked Sat/Sun to ensure clean air quality. School will operate normally tomorrow with a few CC classes to be relocated.

Good afternoon, The NC Fire Department is currently addressing a situation in the Career Center wing of the High School. Smoke is coming from a dust collector. All student and staff are safe and we are using this as an unexpected Fire Drill.

Good evening, This is just a reminder that school is not in session tomorrow, February 16th due to the observation of Presidents' Day. School will resume on Tuesday the 17th of February. Have a nice evening!

Update: Power was restored around 9:15 this morning.

We want to inform you that both Eastwood and Parker Elementary Schools are currently experiencing a power outage. We are in contact with Duke Energy and are working closely with them to monitor the situation and receive updates regarding restoration. At this time, campus generators are operational, and school activities are continuing as safely as possible. We will continue to assess conditions and communicate any changes if necessary. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We will provide additional updates as we receive more information.

Good afternoon, This is just a reminder that tomorrow, February 4th, students will be in buildings and "in person". We will save the Remote Learning Day originally planned for tomorrow on our next inclement weather day. We appreciate your flexibility and support. Go Trojans!!!

Just a reminder that we do have school tomorrow. The orignal E-Leaerning day will be used if we have another inclement weather day. School is in session as normal tomorrow.

We will be having our Quarter 2 Awards on Friday, February 13th. Times will be different than nonrmal. KG-2nd Grade will be from 12:45-1:30. Grades 3-5 will be from 1:30-2:15. Parents may sign out their students after the program as we head into a three-day weekend.

It is great to see our students back in schools today!!! Having just spent the last four days learning virtually, we will be in person next Wednesday, the 4th. This is a change from our calendar. If we have another snow day, we will then use the remote learning day at that time.
