Our Monday night Board Meetings are filled with laughter and joy. Congratulations to Riley Elementary for earning state recognition with exceptional I-Learn Reading Scores and a Trojan Award of Excellence! We also want to honor Annette Goggin, for 39 years of teaching; she will be retiring in May. We are grateful for Jennifer Blackford for serving 5 years on the School Board; thank you! New Castle Community Schools will be on a 2 hour delay Tuesday, December 10, 2024.
"Baby, It's Cold Outside!" Chilling temperatures did not stop our community from gathering and celebrating the Annual Christmas Walk. Thanks, New Castle; job well done.










Tonight, Wednesday, December 4th is our Eastwood Elementary Christmas Program, "Christmas Re-Imagined!" Bundy Auditorium doors open at 6:00 PM, and the program starts at 6:30 PM. Students need to be in place by 6:15 PM. The New Castle-Henry County Public "Library of Trees" has been moved to Bundy this year. Please bring a canned, non-perishable item to vote for your favorite Christmas tree! We've been practicing today; come see us!

This is just a reminder that today and tomorrow (Nov 25th & 26th) are remote assignment learning days for NCCSC students. We are back in session on Dec. 2nd. Wishing everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Our American Sign Language classes visited the Indiana School for the Deaf to attend a student production of the "Grinch." This was the first time many of our students were able to interact with deaf peers, and experience true Deaf Culture.



This year, the Library of Trees will be hosted by Bundy Auditorium! If you, your family, or your business would like to sponsor a tree for the season, please contact Judy Hubbard at judyahubbard@hotmail.com . Decoration days are November 25th and 26th, from 10-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

Our Drama Department is putting on the show "Descendants!" Director Amber Schuyler says to watch the show for its "Upbeat music and choreography, and the great message!" Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students!

November 1st and 2nd at 7:30
and the 3rd at 2:30!

JAG (Jobs for America's Graduates) Induction Ceremony
NCHS students are getting inducted into a state program which helps students build resilience and community networks, while strengthening employability skills.




NCHS' National Honor Society is partnering with the Salvation Army, to host a Winter Coat Drive! We are looking for mostly elementary age coats, new or gently used. They need to be brought into B218, or can be dropped at the front office by next Friday. Share the Warmth!

The Fieldhouse will be open for a SPOOKY Trick or Treat October 31st!
Come in through the Athletic Doors Entrance! All New Castle families are welcome! Our Athletic teams will be passing out candy.

Congratulations to all of the students inducted into National Honor Society this week. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication. Thanks also, to Math Teacher Pam Brown, for organizing this impressive yearly event. Great job, NCHS!





Parker's "Spooktober STEM Olympics" brought Panther families together for a night of quality fun and education exploration. Students' physical and mental skills were challenged at every booth, while staff, friends and family members supported alongside.
