Lynae Amman has accepted the Wilbur Wright Principal position for the 2025-26 School Year! Lynae has served faithfully at Westwood as our Instructional Coach, and will replace our beloved retiring Principal, Jean Ann McAllister. The Ammans will be a two-principal parenting household!

Grades are based on your daughter’s grade level Fall of 2025:
Grades 1-2 1:00-2:30 PM – Middle School Aux. Gym
Grades 3-4 1:00-2:30 PM – Middle School Aux. Gym
Grades 5-8 1:30-3:30 PM – Middle School Main Gym
Registration begins at 12:30 PM on June 2nd, 30 minutes PRIOR to the start time of EACH SESSION. Campers will receive a camp shirt. See the attached PDF for full information!


The New Castle Henry County Public Library is having a READING CONTEST! 6th -12th grade students who complete up to 800 minutes of reading will receive a certificate for a Pizza Hut Personal Pan Pizza, and be entered for the Grand Prizes.

The classic book by Louisa May Alcott was first adapted for the stage in 1912 by Marion de Forest. Watch your favorite characters come to life through our favorite high school characters! Where? Please give a grand "Trojan Welcome" to our new BOYS BASKETBALL BALL COACH, Matt Luce! Moving to NCHS from Wapahani, Coach Luce will also be our new Dean. He and his wife Marie have been married 25 years, and have five children! Welcome to the Fieldhouse, Coach. Thanks to our community for sending lovely welcome gifts for the Coach and his family. When our staff levels up, we burst with #TrojanPride! Congratulations to our Technology Director, Dustin Chew, for pursuing leadership and developing the next generation!

Last week our Math Academic Team qualified for State! On Tuesday they got 24 out of 25 questions right, and won their regional qualifier! They will compete at State on Saturday, May 10th, at Purdue. #GoTrojans
Today, Wednesday, April 30, is a Remote Assignment Learning Day. All assignments were posted in Google Classroom, or were sent home in packets. Good luck to our Seniors as they conduct Exit Interviews, and thanks to our elementary families for joining us at Parent-Teacher Conferences. Have a great day, Trojans!
