Come join the Trojan family! Help us build a better future for New Castle students!

We want to give a HUGE SHOUT OUT to DUKE ENERGY for sponsoring our Summer Reading Program at Wilbur Wright. Students built their skills and vocabulary as guest speakers and teachers collaborated with a theme of "College and Career Readiness." Students won books, were given t-shirts, and were able to visit the Center of Science Institute in Ohio, all thanks to Duke Energy. We are so grateful to our community partners; we're #BuildingBetterFutures together!

Happy Flag Day, New Castle! On June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress adopted the "Stars and Stripes" as the original American flag. The same flag was used when the Declaration of Independence was signed to give a flag for the entire country rather than each state having their own.

Our guest speakers were Representative Craig Haggard, Brigadier General Lawrence M. Muennich, and Major General (Retired) R. Martin Umbarger.
