The Technology Department has been working hard all year to be sure that our students and staff have working devices and network connectivity to support the instruction of students. We have placed the order for the new devices for next school year as well as new teacher devices for Wilbur and Eastwood. This new technology will greatly help our staff to deliver the best education possible to our students. The technology department will be working over spring break to do Wifi equipment upgrades in the buildings. This will be a very busy 2 weeks for technology as they complete tasks that can only be done while the schools are on break.
The team has been working very hard this school year with a total of over 3346 closed tickets. We will be rolling out a new ticketing system soon that will make it easier for tickets to be submitted by staff and give us better insight to trends with our workflows to better serve our students and staff. I would like to recognize the whole team for the hard work they have done this year. If you see a member of the tech team in the community, halls or in the buildings, give them a high five for the time they put in to help everyone.
