On Friday, January 19, the Fieldhouse burst with green. New Castle Girls and Boys Basketball played our rival green and white, Yorktown High School. We had an extra-large crowd attending, as Henry Community Health's employees visited for a special announcement.
Henry Community Health declared support as "The Official Sponsor of New Castle High Schools' Athletics." Cheers rang out through the crowd as hospital and corporation officials shook hands over the center-court Trojan Head. HCH has already purchased multiple scoreboards for the school system, attended multiple school and employee health fairs, offered multiple internship and workforce opportunities to our students, and has poured into the Athletic Department financially. We feel the impact of Henry County Health's generosity in every school building, and personal health care of our students and employees.
On top of sharing the great news of sponsorship, HCH brought 500 foam fingers to share with Trojan fans upon entering the doors. Kids and parents waved their giant hands in glee as each basket raised the scoreboard. The Trojan Head and Henry Community Health logos were also seen waving in the Tigers' Visitors Section!
