The Henry County Community Foundation is excited to Announce the 14th Annual Teacher Excellence Award!
The Teacher Excellence Award is one of the highest honors our Foundation can bestow on an individual. The award recognizes the teacher and provides a significant cash award.
The award is to recognize teachers who demonstrate an unusual committment and inspire students to reach for difficult and lofty goals. Nominees will have earned the respect of students, parents and peers through sustained effort, high moral standards and the likelihood of enduring beneficial effects on the students with which they have worked.
Who Can Be Nominated? Any current full-time teacher of a public school within Henry County is eligible for nomination.
Who Can Nominate a Teacher? Any person—including parents, students, peers and citizens of the community may make nominations. The nomination form should be submitted by one who has had direct experience with the nominee.
