Industrial Technology includes four major units of study: construction, manufacturing, transportation and communications. During each unit, many lab activities complement the concepts studied in the classroom. Some of the lab activities include: model bridge building and testing, assembly line production, making commercials, as well as land, water and air transportation vehicles. There are several computer activities which go along with the units. Students will make CAD drawings and work in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Publisher. Grades are based on unit tests, lab activities, and a required notebook.
