Updated Graduation Information

  • The Ceremony has officially been moved to July 18, 2020 at 8:30 am due to the latest Executive Order from the Governor (Stage 4.5).  This order limits gatherings of individuals of no more than 250 people inside until July 17.
  • The Ceremony will take place in the Fieldhouse.  If the Governor/State and local officials prevent an indoor ceremony on July 18, it will not be rescheduled again, and we will proceed with an outdoor ceremony at Neal Field, still at 8:30 am, on July 18.
  • Graduation Rehearsal for our seniors that are walking in Commencement will be on July 17 at 8:30 am in the Fieldhouse. This Rehearsal is mandatory for these seniors unless you have contacted the high school office with a special situation. Tickets for spectators will be issued during practice (2 tickets per graduate).  We will also be passing out prizes to seniors at that time via our Nite Club Organization.
  • We encourage all in attendance to wear a mask.  This is true of the graduates as well.  Seniors in the ceremony should not wear masks that are inappropriate or that may interfere with the dignity of the ceremony.  Administrators will be emphasizing this important matter to our seniors.
  • The Ceremony will be livestreamed with the help of our technology department.  Please go to the high school web page and click News/Events page and click the Graduation Live Stream link to watch the Ceremony.  We encourage families, relatives, and friends to take advantage of this option.
  • We wanted to provide one more opportunity to have an in-person commencement ceremony to our graduates.  We do want to honor and celebrate the class of 2020 while still respecting and preserving everyone’s health and safety.
