The Rising Stars of Indiana is sponsored by the Indiana Association of School Principals.  It is a complement to the Indiana Academic All-Stars recognition program for Indiana high school seniors.  The selection is made by teacher nominations, student knowledge, accomplishments and leadership skills.  This year the principal association will recognize 1,014 juniors from 260 schools.  New Castle High School was  honored to present their selection of four junior winners with certificates from Principal Kirk Amman.  They are:  Sarah Gerth, Andrew Glover, Abby Hamilton, and Cooper Rusch.
