Behavior Support Services

New Castle began behavior services programming in the spring of 2022, with the addition of Lorraine Woodruff, our Board Certified Behavior Analyst. With specialized academic training and practical experience, Mrs. Woodruff will be evaluating, designing, and implementing personalized protocols for our students to enhance skills and improve classroom behaviors. At the core of her work lies the evaluation of the intricate relationship between behavior and environmental factors. Using proven techniques like positive reinforcement, Lorraine will teach our staff how to assist students in developing new behaviors, modifying existing ones, and exhibiting desired behaviors under specific conditions. While her expertise is often sought after in working with students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, traumatic brain injuries, intellectual and developmental disabilities, Mrs. Woodruff also excels in website coding and organization, and has a small agricultural family business. Our analyst brings her exceptional skills to any setting.

We are excited to have a BCBA on board who’s ready to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and contribute to the success of our corporation.
